SOBRE EL AUTOR

Pedro Antonio de Alarcón y Ariza fue un escritor y político español.

En 1854, se trasladó a Madrid y dirigió el periódico anticlerical y satírico El Látigo.

Tras una carrera política como diputado, se dedicó a la escritura de novelas.

Es una de las figuras más célebres del realismo dentro de la literatura española.
