Nelly Boutinot is the vice president of the association "Humanity and Biodiversity," which works toward defending and raising public awareness for biodiversity around the world. She works alongside astrophysicist Hubert Reeves, who is president of the association. Together, in collaboration with artist Daniel Casanave, they created the series "Hubert Reeves nous explique" (Le Lombard; "Hubert Reeves explains...," Europe Comics), an illustrated guide to the natural world for all ages.

Après des études de physique au Canada et un doctorat en astrophysique nucléaire réalisé à New York, Hubert Reeves (né à Montréal en 1932) s’installe en France en 1965 et devient directeur de Recherches au CNRS. Sa très grande capacité à rendre accessible au plus grand nombre la complexité de l’univers dans de nombreux ouvrages a très largement contribué à le rendre célèbre.

Né en 1963, Daniel Casanave partage son temps entre l'illustration, la scénographie et la bande dessinée. Depuis 2001, il explore le monde du 9ème Art en mettant l'accent sur l'adaptation de chefs-d'œuvre de la littérature et la vie de grands artistes.
