Résumé

In a distant time when summer and winter alternate as quickly as night and day, giant insects have replaced most other lifeforms. Wolves have become civilized and switch their gender at every moon. Egg-laying women rule over men. And the half-wizard Tometeu tribe ride around on small caterpillars and beetles. Amongst this throng are Petrigré, Rum, Angus, and JJJ: heroes in search of love, identity, dreams, freedom, and also a treasure hidden in the heart of the icy mountains... Will they find it? What will be? Gold and silver? Supreme power? An unstoppable weapon of destruction? And what consequences will it have for all the tribes teetering on the brink of war?

  • Denis Lapière (auteur)

    Né en 1958 en Belgique, Denis Lapière se lance dans la bande dessinée au milieu des années 80. Il travaille pour Spirou et L’écho des Savanes avec Jean-Philippe Stassen. On lui doit la série Charlie avec la dessinatrice Magda, mais c’est Le Bar du vieux français qui lui apporte la reconnaissance professionnelle. Il a depuis signé de nombreuses œuvres importantes comme Un peu de fumée bleue et Le tour de valse avec Ruben Pellejero. Il est également directeur de collection aux éditions Dupuis (collections Punaise et Puceron)

  • Émilie Alibert (auteur)

    After a first career as an educator for people with special needs, Émilie Alibert became an actress, working alongside Daniel Prévost, Gérard Jugnot, Roger Planchon, Michel Duchossoy, and Alexandre Brasseur. She then devoted herself to writing for television (for the series "Plus belle la vie") as well as comics. Her first series was the three-part saga "Rose" (Dupuis; Europe Comics in English), created together with Denis Lapière and Valérie Vernay. She is currently working on the heroic fantasy series "Le Roi Louve" with Denis Lapière and Adrián (Dupuis; "The Wolf Queen," Europe Comics).
