    Ingrid Chabbert est née en 1978 en Aveyron et vit aujourd'hui à Carcassonne. Elle écrit depuis sa plus tendre enfance, et jouer avec les mots, parler de la vie aux enfants, c'est sa passion, même si elle n'a pas fait d'études de lettres. Son tout premier album jeunesse est paru en 2010 et, depuis, c'est près d'une centaine de titres qui ont vu le jour.En 2018, elle publie avec Léa Mazé "Elma, une vie d'ours" (Dargaud).Elle fera la connaissance de Antony Bernard, alias Berny, et lui propose le scénario de « Rosamée » qui paraîtra en 2022 (Dargaud).
