Résumé
--
Discussing the subject of bodies and touching in the Gospels may raise a few eyebrows, but it is necessary if we are to study Jesus, he who cured and saved countless times with a touch of his hand. In fact there are several kinds of touching: that of Jesus, that of the multitude and that of women. There is the gesture of despair, the gesture that heals the gesture of compassion that breaks the rules by demonstrating the immense liberty of He who allows himself be touched — and the gesture that reveals what each one of us holds deep within their heart. Here we have an anthropological and narrative quest which, based on the Greek text, strikes a new note while confirming that the interpretation of the act of touching remains to be interpreted by today’s reader.
