Résumé

On their next musical adventure, Mama and Papa Poss take a cruise up the Mississippi River aboard the Delta Queen to Memphis, the birthplace of rock 'n' roll. As it turns out, the king himself, Elvis Harepiece, has enlisted the talented marsupial musicians to compose his next hit. Follow the duo as they stroll down the legendary Beale Street and make their way to the Graceland for a memorable encounter that will pave their way to glory! The narrated story is followed by the songs "Armadillo on the Rocks" and "Shake That Thing.""Sunny Days in a Memphis Studio!" is the third story in the "We’re a Possum Family Band" series, which follows Mama and Papa Poss on their travels that bring them across North America to the birthplaces of Cajun, jazz, country, rock’n’roll, blues, and traditional Quebecois music.

    Avec sa voix envoûtante et ses rythmes chauds, Bïa tisse des ponts entre les cultures qui l’habitent, incluant celles de son Brésil natal, de la France et du Québec. Son premier album éponyme recevra le Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles-Cros en 1997 et l’album Cœur Vagabond remportera le Prix Félix dans la catégorie « Meilleur Album – Musiques du Monde » en 2006. Elle est l’auteure-compositrice de Pyjama Party publié en 2012 à La Montagne secrète.

  • Olaf Gundel (Interprété par)

    Olaf Gundel est un multi-instrumentiste, compositeur et réalisateur. Il a participé récemment à la production de l’album et du spectacle « Rêves américains : De la ruée vers l’or à la Grande Crise » de Thomas Hellman.
