Jean-Michel Fortier est né en 1987 à Québec. Après une maîtrise en études littéraires à l’Université Laval, il s’installe à Montréal, où il s’affaire à toutes sortes de besognes. Son premier roman, Le chasseur inconnu (La Mèche, 2014), a été finaliste au Grand Prix littéraire Archambault et publié en traduction anglaise par QC Fiction en 2016. Katherine Hastings (auteur)

After immigrating to Canada from the U.K., Katherine Hastings spent ten years in Ontario before moving to Montreal, where she completed a degree in modern languages at McGill University. She has worked as a Quebec-based translator and copyeditor since 1995. This is her first stab at literary translation, a field she looks forward to exploring further.
