What about an unexpected two years’ vacation on a desert island? It may sound appealing from nowadays perspective. But when a marooned ship drifts to sea with nobody but a group of young boys on board, things does not seem as promising as expected. The ship is caught by a storm and the boys end up on an unknown island. They will either adapt and learn how to survive or they will die. When it seems like their fate is predetermined after two years on the island, they notice a passing ship. Is this their way out or they will find themselves in even bigger threat? Jules Verne takes us on yet another sea journey with the adventure novel "Two Years' Vacation". It is a story about bravery, flexibility and intelligence by which Verne seeks to show everybody that everything is possible if you have strong will and perseverance.

Jules Verne naît à Nantes en 1828. Après ses études secondaires, il se rend à Paris pour faire son droit, mais il préfère le théâtre et les mondanités. Bien que reçu à sa thèse, il refuse de reprendre la charge d'avoué de son père. Il commence à se passionner de plus en plus pour la science et l'univers des découvertes. Il publie des nouvelles, un roman historique,
Martin Paz, et une opérette,
Colin-Maillard. Après son mariage en 1857, il devient agent de change à la Bourse pour vivre. Travaillant le jour, il étudie la nuit, les mathématiques, la physique, la géographie, la botanique pour construire son œuvre.
En 1863, il apporte le manuscrit de Cinq semaines en ballon à l'éditeur Hetzel. Cette rencontre sera décisive : ce grand éditeur, enthousiasmé par les manuscrits de Jules Verne, lui propose un contrat propre à stimuler le génie de l'auteur de Vingt Mille Lieues sous les mers, un contrat qui l'attache à sa maison. Grâce à un travail acharné de quarante années, Jules Verne élabore une œuvre immense.Pour lui, la science, c'est le mouvement incessant qui part de l'homme et y revient avec une provision de connaissances, d'images et de rêves. Il s'agit d'une science apprivoisée, attentive aux besoins de l'homme, prête à le servir sans jamais l'asservir. On est loin de l'âpre réalité qui avait cours à l'époque. Ce naïf, cet émouvant mélange de connaissances, de bricolage ingénieux, de fulgurantes visions futuristes est toujours à hauteur d'homme. Jules Verne est mort le 24 mars 1905 à Amiens, la ville natale de sa femme, où il s'était installé en 1871.

I began this journey a few years ago as a medium. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that would lead me to be able to hear G-D, Jesus and some Arch Angels. I started getting messages that I needed to go out on the beach at sunrise, and to bring my tablet, more commonly known as a notebook. I would walk up and down the beach thinking I would see something like the burning bush, but that didnt happen. It couldnt be as simple as that. I needed to sit down with my tablet and start writing what I heard. I soon realized I was going to have to work hard for this. Almost every morning I would sit down either at the beach or later in my house, to listen to the great spirits tell me their wisdom. It would take a full year to put together this book.
