• Alan Mills (auteur)

  Alan Mills était chanteur d’opéra, puis de folklore, ainsi qu’un auteur, compositeur et comédien. Dès la fin des années 40, il participera à diverses émissions de la CBC, dont Folk Songs for Young Folk et, avec Hélène Baillargeon, Songs de Chez Nous. Il montera sur les planches de plusieurs festivals folk durant les années 60, tel le légendaire Newport Folk Festival ainsi que le Hootenany at Carnegie Hall à New York – accompagné du grand violoneux québécois Jean Carignan ! En 1964, l’Office national du film du Canada utilisera, comme trame sonore et titre d’un film, sa chanson pour enfants I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, devenue très populaire à travers le continent nord-américain. Il a été admis en 1974 à l’Ordre du Canada.

• Pierre Girard (Illustré par)

  Né à Jonquière, Pierre Girard (PisHier) réside à Québec depuis 1996 où il travaille comme illustrateur, peintre et auteur de bandes dessinées. Très créatif, PisHier a l’habitude de partager son temps entre mille et un projets. Il n’arrête jamais de surprendre par ses idées, ses créations et son engagement envers la communauté artistique. En 2018, il a remporté le prix littéraire scientifique Hubert Reeves pour la série de livres développée avec Les Neurones Atomiques.

• Thomas Hellman (Interprété par)

  Thomas Hellman tells the story of America, from the Wild West to the Great Depression, through bilingual adaptations of old-time blues, folk, and gospel songs. The son of a Texan father and French mother, he was gifted with two languages and distinct heritages. He has released seven albums as a singer-songwriter and in 2022, he created Mythomania, a live show inspired by his radio spots on Greek mythology.
