    Hortense Karambiri, alongside her husband, Reverend Dr. Mamadou Philippe Karambiri, serves as joint pastor of a prominent ministry within the French-speaking evangelical community. She also holds the position of Senior Pastor at the headquarters church, Bethel Israel Tabernacle/Church Of Nations (TBI/EDEN), of the International Centre for Evangelism/Inland African Mission (CIE/MIA). Subsequent to a successful international career, she dedicated herself to full-time ministry.In 2022, Logos Christian University in Florida, USA, conferred upon Hortense Karambiri the honorary degree of Doctor Honoris Causa in recognition of her commitment to, and impactful contributions towards, the socio-economic development of her country. Her distinctions also include the rank of Commander of the Order of the Stallion (2023), Knight of the Order of Merit for Social Action and Health (2015), Knight of the Academic Palms (2014), and Knight of the National Order (2011).
