Dans un petit village côtier au passé obscur, un enfant nommé Jérémi se fait implanter un coeur mécanique par son père. L’engin rotatif lui sauve la vie, mais la change à tout jamais. Alors qu’il en a déjà plein les bras à tenter de faire accepter sa différence aux villageois, on apprend qu’un ouragan fonce droit sur la côte. Pendant que l’évacuation s’organise, Jérémi, lui, refuse d’abandonner le village. Installé à Québec depuis une dizaine d’années,Guillaume Demers a complété un baccalauréat enenseignement des arts plastiques à l’Université Laval.Friand d’images et de récits, il a suivi une formationen bande dessinée à la Maison Jaune. Il s’est aussiperfectionné en illustration de roman graphique àl’École internationale d’été de Percé. Il enseigne lesarts au centre d’alphabétisation «Lis-moi tout» dansla grande région de Québec, la bande dessinée à laSociété d’arts et d’histoire de Beauport et chapeauteun comité de dessin au Cégep de Sainte-Foy.____Guillaume Demers has a bachelor’s degree in arteducation from Université Laval. A big fan of illustratedstories, he has studied comic book illustration atthe Maison Jaune in Quebec City and graphic novelillustration at the École internationale d’été in Percé.He teaches art at the Lis-moi tout literacy center inthe Quebec City region and comic book illustration atthe Société d’arts et d’histoire de Beauport. He alsosupervises a drawing club at the Cégep de Sainte-Foy.
