Résumé
In the beautiful Garden of Mbuto, all the fruits live together in harmony—until one day, pride sparks a lively debate. Each fruit begins to boast about its importance, arguing that it is more valuable than the others. Orange claims to be the greatest because its sweet juice is loved by everyone. Lemon counters that its bitter juice is powerful, used for medicine and skin care. Papaya speaks of how it helps babies with digestion, while Mango insists it is essential for school children because it fights hunger. Banana proudly declares that it is loved by all ages.Soon, Passion fruit, Tamarillo, Pineapple, Berries, Grapes, and even Sugarcane join the discussion, each highlighting their unique benefits. The garden grows noisy with competing voices—until the wise Vine, the king of the garden, gently listens and offers a thoughtful conclusion. Rather than choosing a winner, the Vine reminds them that their true strength lies in working together, complementing one another, and celebrating their differences.Through colorful characters and playful dialogue, this story teaches young children about respect, cooperation, and the value of diversity. It encourages readers to appreciate that everyone has a special role to play and that together, we are stronger and more useful.
