<p>Timothy J. Burkholder devoted most of his working years to church relations at congregational, conference, and denominational levels. He recently served two years as executive director of the Anabaptist Disabilities Network. After retiring, he contributed volunteer time to this book project. He and his wife, Sharon Burkholder, have three adult children and two grandchildren.</p>
